Chairmen, conveners, secretaires, members, delegates and experts of ISO/TC 172 - Optics & Photonics - have recieved ISO's 2009 Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award for excellence in creative and innovation standards development.

PRO OPTICA is an active part of ISO/TC 172 since 1994 and during the time its experts had an important contribution in the workgroups’ activity. These experts are: phis. Georgeta Sorohan, phis. Magdalena Tantu, phis. Anca Beldiceanu and eng. Dan Ursu.

We are pleased to notify that PRO OPTICA is actively involved in a Research & Technology development project financed by EU – Seventh Framework Programme.

The project named: „ Novel Intruder Detection and Authentication Optical Sensing Technology – iDetecT4All” is a collaborative project and will be carried out by an International Consortium, coordinated by Instro Precision Limited (England).
