PRO OPTICA in EU – Seventh Framework Programme (FP7)

ISO's 2009 Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award

Starting July 2011, PRO OPTICA became the majority shareholder of S.C. INSTITUTUL de OPTOELECTRONICA S.A. (IOEL), private research organization, with Romanian capital, certified by National Authority for Scientific Research to perform Research & Development activity.

The Research Division staff from PRO OPTICA will operate in IOEL, having the same skills.

IOEL in partnership with PRO OPTICA, or its affiliated companies as SMEs, can participate in National or International R&D competitions to promote their projects of interest.

Chairmen, conveners, secretaires, members, delegates and experts of ISO/TC 172 - Optics & Photonics - have recieved ISO's 2009 Lawrence D. Eicher Leadership Award for excellence in creative and innovation standards development.

PRO OPTICA is an active part of ISO/TC 172 since 1994 and during the time its experts had an important contribution in the workgroups’ activity. These experts are: phis. Georgeta Sorohan, phis. Magdalena Tantu, phis. Anca Beldiceanu and eng. Dan Ursu.

The 2009 Lawrence D. Eicher Leaderhip Award to ISO/TC172
